Wavelength Telephone Concept

( Product design exercise )

Anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves answering phones and making calls all day would sympathize with the strain of holding a phone receiver to their ear over a lengthy call. Addressing this need is the headset which improved usability. However wearing headsets over a long duration can cause discomfort.

The wavelength telephone concept is a result of an investigation into the application of directional audio, directional microphone and camera tracking technologies into a communication platform for a commercial market. The Wavelength Telephone concept is a hands free communications platform for the home or office. This concept allows the user to carry out a private conversation without having to hold a receiver, or wear a headset.
